My friend John knows of my deep, deep love of all things Bollywood, and came in to work to tell me that he and his flatmate had caught a few minutes of a Bollywood movie on one of the cable channels over the weekend.

Naturally, I asked which one. He didn't know. "Well, what was it about?"

John nodded, then just looked at me funny. "I'm not sure if it's scary or sad, or both, that you know that".
